Terms & Conditions
On booking your party/event with Smillie Face Painting you will be sent a confirmation
e-mail or Facebook message outlining the details of your particular event.
The host/parent is responsible at all times for the general supervision of the children within the party/event venue, whether at home or at any other premises, for the supervision of exits and for ensuring that children only leave the party venue with their own parent or guardian.
For a two hour party/event the face painter will expect to work continuously with no break. If the party food needs to be served in this time, the face painter will continue with children coming one at a time to be painted and then return to the table. For longer events a 15 minute break may be necessary.
If for any unforeseen reason the face painter is unable to get to your event due to matters beyond their control, your deposit will be refunded in full, although we will of course, make every reasonable effort to meet my fulfillments. Please note we are unable to provide any refund for bad weather, so please consider covered venues or a bad weather contingency plan.
Two chairs are to be made available to the face painter, if this is not possible please advise at the time of booking. If the face painter is required to work outside, suitable cover/shelter must be arranged.
If there are parking fees to be paid in order to attend an event these must be covered by the client. If a parking permit is needed, please make the necessary arrangements for one to be available for the face painter.
If more guests than anticipated require painting at your event, it will be at the discretion of the face painter as to whether they can stay longer than booked in order to continue. This will depend on other commitments on the day. Extra time will be charged at £20 per hour extra the face painter is required to stay.
Once the face painter has finished and packed away, they will not be able to re-set up to accommodate a latecomer.
Smillie Face Painting shall not have any liability to the client for any loss, damage, costs or expenses, which the client suffers or incurs arising out of the event unless arising out of gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Smillie Face Painting.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a party or event by the customer must be given in writing or by e-mail or Facebook message, no fewer than seven days before the event was scheduled to take place. If less than seven days notice is given, and the event is not to be postponed to another mutually suitable date, a 75% cancellation fee will be charged.
